AI Behavior

Below is the basic setup for the AI flowchart. (Viewable on the Miro Frame “AI Behavior”)

The AI behavior tree will be universal across all roles. When the AI is assigned a role card at the beginning of the game, its variables will be updated to match the spreadsheet below. These represent the AI’s preferences, such as how many structure cards the AI wants to have in its hand, or cards it likes to use. It also determines the upper and lower limits of its randomization for which deck to choose from.

Definitions

SHC = Structure Hand Count. How many structures are in that player’s hand.

ODS = Odds of Drawing a Structure. (High/Low denotes the highest and lowest rates that role can receive)

IPS = In play structures. How many structures the AI has built.

Min IPS = The minimum desired structures an AI would like to have built

OSR = Oh Shit! Round. This is the round the AI will start prioritizing playing environmental actions
